Our Program

Norwalk Youth Football is a grade appropriate football league open to players in grades 2-8. We are affiliated with American Youth Football and play within the Candlewood Valley Football League. The season starts in early August and runs through early November, followed by post-season play. Football is a sport that requires a serious commitment. Teams practice two hours a day, five days a week until Labor Day and three days a week thereafter with games on Saturdays or Sundays. Players are required to attend all games and practices.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote the game of football with respect to the basic fundamentals of the game. The emphasis is on the concepts of sportsmanship, fair play and respect for other players, parents, coaches and officials. Winning is recognized as a by-product of these ideals, and never used as a measuring device.
